Leader Selection 2025
From the very first moment of its establishment, Camp Erudite has been actively working to discover young participants and provide them with opportunities to reveal their leadership potential.
Camp leaders are selected largely after observing the children who have joined Erudite as participants. Our team is constantly trying to support the development of teenagers and give young participants the opportunity to test themselves in different directions. That is why we constantly monitor all participants and, based on their responsibility, sociability and purposefulness, we give them the opportunity to become full-fledged members of Erudite.
Our organization actively cooperated with international organizations such as USAID, PH International, Peace Corps, UNICEF, NEEP and others...
Unfortunately, due to various draft laws recently adopted by the Georgian government, the aforementioned organizations have reduced, and some organizations have completely stopped, their support for Georgian NGOs.
The Erudite team is distinguished by its high level of social responsibility. Our organization is actively involved in the ongoing processes in the country, therefore, each such decision is followed by our criticism of the government.
We received a response from the government, which was expressed in an "attack" against our organization, which led to restrictions such as: limiting the distribution of projects in public schools and educational resource centers.
Based on the above, we decided to develop alternative methods to raise awareness of our planned future and ongoing projects.
For example, we select camp leaders using 3 different methods. One of the methods is for the aspiring leader to promote the project in their community, region, district, or simply in their circle of friends and try to interest as many young people as possible.
A leader who is able to register at least 10 participants with their own resources will be given the chance to become a camp representative with the status of "trainee leader".
During the internship process, it is important to be able to demonstrate your skills and abilities in order to successfully complete the selection stage. If the first stage is successfully completed, Erudite will allow you to undergo training with other team members in areas such as: first aid, psychological training, emergency management, and more.
After that, the participant will become a full member of our team and will be able to go to the camp without any prerequisites. Among them, there will no longer be a mandatory registration of a certain number of participants (the above-mentioned 10 participants).
Another phase of leader selection is to increase the organization's awareness on social media. This phase is similar to the previous phase, but here the leader does not have to spread information to his community.
To select a leader in this phase, it is necessary for the leader to have experience in public relations and good communication skills, as his/her direct responsibility will be to create content for Erudite's social media (Tik-Tok, Instagram, and Facebook), participate in live broadcasts, etc. As for the 3rd phase of selecting leaders, this is the acceptance of public applications.
Those who wish to become leaders will answer a pre-compiled, simple questionnaire. After filtering and working on the questionnaires, 10 candidates will be selected and will undergo an interview. After the interview, there will be testing and training, as a result of which either all ten selected candidates will be appointed as leaders, or only some of them will have the opportunity to become members of our organization.
According to current data, the competition for hiring leaders through public applications is very high, however, we also have certain frameworks that limit us, based on the applications received, and we are only able to give 10 participants the opportunity to work with us.
There is also high competition when hiring leaders in the social media field, and only 3 candidates are selected.
As for the community representative (the leader who has the obligation to register at least 10 participants in the project), there is no competition and no quota is set.
Any candidate who can attract at least 10 participants to the camp will automatically be appointed as an intern leader and will have to go to the camp at least once. As for the next stages, it depends only on him and his skills during the internship.
The leader has the option to complete the application according to criteria 1, 2, or all three.

Answer:
- It doesn't matter in which form you are selected as a leader or intern leader. If you are selected and meet the relevant criteria, you will not have to pay any money.
